Knowing About The Enneagram

Joey was introduced to the Enneagram by one of her work colleagues who attended our Enneagram Level 1 course. He subsequently brought in the Level 1 course to the company and this began Joey’s journey into the Enneagram.

Personal Challenges Before Knowing The Enneagram

Pre-Enneagram, Joey found that even though she was very open and sincere in her interactions with the people around her, she could not understand why she was perceived as intimidating, bossy and unapprochable.

Experiencing Enneagram Level 1

However, after attending the Level 1 course and specifically after learning about Type 8s, Joey finally understood how her own perceived actions were being received very differently by the people around her. Her biggest takeaway from the course was that she managed why her colleagues were behaving in a certain manner. She had realised that their actions were motivated by their core Enneagram Types.

She was also impressed by how knowledgeable the trainers were in the subject matter to meaningfully connect the concepts to the participants’ lives, as well as how well each person in Relationship Studio knew their life.

Joey, post Enneagram Level 1, has used the knowledge she has gained to better understand her colleagues better and to interact with them according to their Enneagram Types. She has also applied it to her job as a HR director to understand the inner motivations of the people she is recruiting for her organisation.

She added, “The Enneagram has allowed me to learn to realise the differences between people and how to be more accepting of them.”

When asked who should attend the course, she smiled as she responded, “I would recommend this course to people whose jobs require them to relate to the people around them. This is certainly useful in any personal relationship.”
