These salesmen are aware of the happenings of their environment which allows them to be in an engaging relationship with their stakeholders, and in control of their sales processes. Being there and on top of things is what these outgoing salesmen take pride in. When their dealings are disrupted or they are unable to be present with their clients, they can get angered. Throughout the sales processes, they use their gut to influence their actions taken and decisions made.

Type 8 salesmen can get defensive towards negative comments about what they are selling and become less tactful in discussion. This is only because they are also passionate salesmen who believe in what they do. As a result, being threatened prompts fear of rejection from their clients and they may spiral down into a close-minded state towards possibly constructive criticism.

Type 9 salesmen put their clients’ relationship as top priority and are therefore accommodating and open to hearing them out. Unfortunately, this selfless behaviour of going the extra mile may be inefficient as they could allow themselves to be taken advantage of by their client. This could be in hopes of appeasing them or simply avoiding tension between them and their clients.

Type 1 salesmen are honest and practical with what they are selling to the clients. However, they be rather set on what they think is best. This stubbornness could be out of good intention but result in a client who believes that they are not being heard.
